4.2. My Friends Guide

The TFlow platform is not just an internal messenger—it acts as a hub that ties together the trade ecosystem network (exporter–shipping line–customs broker–buyer–bank). For smooth communication and chat/project invitations, you must first be registered as Friends with each other.

Access: Top-right profile menu → My Friends = the My Friends tab of the My Profile screen (tflowx.com/my/profile?tab=friends). The old address /my/friends leads to this tab too. ✨ UPDATED (2026-10)

1. Network Connections and Address Book Management

  • Sending a request: Type the person's email address in the box at the top and press Request friend. Requests go by email only (there is no search for members by name or company). This is a required step before collaborating with external partner companies.
  • Received · Sent requests: Requests others send you appear in the Received Requests area above the list, where you can accept or decline them. Requests you sent sit under Sent Requests as Pending and can be **Cancel**led. Received requests can also be handled on the Notifications › Friends tab.
  • Management features: Switch the list between All · By Group · By Company, and create groups to sort friends into. Click a friend's name to set an alias, leave a memo or remove the friend; the icons on the card start a chat or an email. Details are in Account Management — My Friends.

1-1. Friend Management Troubleshooting (FAQ)

  • Q: "The search doesn't work when inviting a project Coworker or creating a group chat."
    • A: External users, such as staff at other companies, must be mutually approved as friends on the My Profile › My Friends tab before they can be shared with/invited to internal project tools. First send a friend request to the person's email and get mutual approval.
  • Q: "I no longer want to keep a specific external user on my list."
    • A: In the more-options (three-dot) button on the contact card list, you can choose Remove Contact or Block (block work messages). When blocked, the other party can no longer send you messages (Chat) or share links.
