2.1. Email Integration and Settings (Email Settings)
Connect your work mail (Gmail, or a company IMAP/POP3 account) to TFlow so you can read and reply to trade-related mail without leaving TFlow.
⚠️ Anyone can connect their own work account. To connect a shared company address (e.g., sales@company.com) for the whole company to use, ask your company Master.
1. How to Connect a Google (Gmail) Account
If you see "No active email account found" or "No email accounts connected yet.", no mailbox is connected yet. Connect one as follows.
- In the left-hand menu, go to Email → Settings (screen title: Email Account Settings).
- Click Connect Gmail.
- When the Google login window appears, choose the work Google account you want to connect.
- Approve the access permissions so TFlow can read your mail.
- When the connection finishes, the account appears in the list as Active and mail starts arriving.

1-1. Google Integration Troubleshooting (FAQ)
- Q: "Re-authentication Required" — mail has stopped arriving.
- A: Go to Email → Settings, click Re-authenticate on that account, and approve the Google sign-in and permissions again. This appears when you change your Google password or revoke TFlow's access in your Google account. If the account shows as Inactive, click the status icon to activate it again.
- Q: "I get an Access Denied or app-blocked error."
- A: First check whether your browser is blocking popups. If your company uses Google Workspace, your company's Google Workspace administrator may not have allowed external apps (TFlow) to connect. Ask whoever manages your company's Google accounts to allow it.
2. How to Connect External Email (IMAP / POP3)
Company mail servers and other services such as Naver, Kakao or Daum connect over IMAP. For Naver, Kakao and Daum, click Naver Mail / Kakao Mail / Daum Mail (Hanmail) as described in 2-1 to 2-3 and the server values are filled in for you. If you enter the address first, the right one is picked from the end of the address (@naver.com, @kakao.com, @daum.net, @hanmail.net). For other services, enter the IMAP settings yourself. Use this route as well when you see "Unsupported email provider".
- On the Email → Settings screen, click Add IMAP Email Account.
- Enter the following information accurately.
- Email Address: your full address (e.g., user@yourdomain.com)
- Account name (optional): the name shown in the account list and the left menu (e.g. Work Naver). Leave empty to show the address.
- Password: we recommend an app password created in your mail service.
- IMAP Server Settings: IMAP host, port (e.g.,
993, secure SSL/TLS) - SMTP Server Settings (optional): SMTP host, port (e.g.,
465SSL /587TLS)
- Save — the connection is verified and the account is added to your list.

2-1. Connecting Naver Mail
Naver Mail connects over IMAP. Click Naver Mail under the IMAP/SMTP card on the settings screen and the server address and ports are filled in for you; then do these three things.
- Turn on IMAP/SMTP in Naver — Naver Mail → Settings (gear) → POP3/IMAP settings → IMAP/SMTP settings tab → set "IMAP/SMTP use" to On and save. (If this is off, the connection fails even with the right password.)
- If 2-step verification is on, create an application password — Naver ID (nid.naver.com) → Security → 2-step verification → Application passwords → create. The 16-character password is shown only once, so copy it right away. Your normal login password will not work.
- Enter it in T FLOW — your address (e.g. id@naver.com) and the password (the application password if 2-step verification is on), then save. The login ID field is filled automatically with your Naver ID without @naver.com.
Values filled in automatically: incoming imap.naver.com 993 (SSL) · outgoing smtp.naver.com 465 (SSL). Use the same values if you enter them manually.
2-2. Connecting Kakao Mail
Kakao Mail also connects over IMAP, and 2-step verification plus an app password are required (Kakao policy). Click Kakao Mail on the settings screen and the server values are filled in.
⚠️ If your address ends in @daum.net or @hanmail.net, it is Daum Mail, not Kakao Mail. Follow 2-3 below. Even if you sign in to Daum with your Kakao account, the two mailboxes and their app passwords are separate, and your Daum Mail address is shown in Daum Mail Settings → IMAP/POP3 settings.
- Turn on 2-step verification — KakaoTalk More → Settings → Kakao Account → 2-step verification (or accounts.kakao.com → Account security → 2-step verification).
- Create an app password — in the same menu under App password; copy it. Your Kakao account password will not sign in.
- Turn on IMAP in Kakao Mail — Kakao Mail on PC → Settings → IMAP/POP3 settings → set IMAP to On and save.
- Enter it in T FLOW — your Kakao Mail address (e.g. id@kakao.com) and the app password, then save. The login ID field is filled automatically with the part before @ (id) — the full address will not sign in. Even if your Kakao account was created with another email (e.g. Gmail), enter your Kakao Mail address in the email field.
Values filled in automatically: incoming imap.kakao.com 993 (SSL) · outgoing smtp.kakao.com 465 (SSL).
2-3. Connecting Daum Mail (Hanmail)
Addresses ending in @daum.net or @hanmail.net are Daum Mail. Click Daum Mail (Hanmail) on the settings screen to fill in the server values. Daum Mail requires an app password; your regular password will not work (Daum Help Center).
- Turn on IMAP — Daum Mail on PC → Settings → IMAP/POP3 settings → set IMAP to On and save. Use the email address shown on this screen in T FLOW.
- Create an app password — in Daum member management (My Page). Since Daum was spun off from Kakao on December 1, 2025, Daum Mail app passwords are made there, not in your Kakao account (Kakao Help Center).
- Enter it in T FLOW — the address from step 1 (e.g. id@hanmail.net) and the app password, then save. The login ID is filled with the part before @. Even if you sign in to Daum with your Kakao account, do not enter your Kakao address. One Daum account can have both @daum.net and @hanmail.net, so screens may show different ones; use the one on the IMAP/POP3 settings screen.
Values filled in automatically: incoming imap.daum.net 993 (SSL) · outgoing smtp.daum.net 465 (SSL).
💡 Kakao Mail or Daum Mail? @kakao.com is Kakao Mail (2-2); @daum.net or @hanmail.net is Daum Mail (2-3). Their app passwords are made in different places (Kakao account vs Daum member management), and one made on the other side will not sign in. The settings screen shows this note with a link to switch.
2-4. IMAP / POP3 Integration Troubleshooting (FAQ)
- Q: "The connection failed / authentication failed."
- A: Either the password is wrong, or your mail service (Naver, Daum, etc.) blocks "external access by less secure apps" by default. In your mail site's settings, turn IMAP on, create an app password, and enter that instead of your regular password. Kakao Mail and Daum Mail create app passwords in different places, so a password made on the other side causes this error (see the note in 2-3).
- Q: "The latest mail appears too late and doesn't stay in sync."
- A: Mail is fetched account by account, so it can lag briefly when you have many accounts or a large mailbox. If it's urgent, click the Sync icon at the top right of the inbox to fetch mail right away.
